Kapukapu Application Withdrawn!
Aloha Neighbors and Friends - thanks to your hard work,
this rezoning application for 45 houses on 7,500 sf lots at the end of Kapukapu Street was withdrawn on 2/1/23.
The property is now for sale, being marketed as an estate or for "land banking."
Our mission is to be a source of information about proposed development
on one of the few remaining undeveloped ahupua'a in Kailua Kona.
We also are working with others across the Kona moku (district) to:
prevent destruction of archaeologically or culturally important land;
preserve agricultural land for agriculture, not unaffordable houses;
protect the ocean's health and prevent a future environmental disaster;
ensure that the necessary infrastructure (sewer and water) has capacity now.

Join our community as we work toward these goals.
